VESNA MARIA MAHER
She is a UWC of the Atlantic (UK) graduate, has a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature and a final exam in Franch language and literature from Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. Has a B.A. degree in acting from the Academy for theatre, radio, film and television in Ljubljana.
As an actress, she was employed in the Slovene Popular Theatre Celje and Koper Theatre. As an independent artist she was associated with Slovene National Theatre Drama in Ljubljana and with Slovene Theatre in Trieste. She has also worked at Slovene TV RAI Trieste (Italy) and TV Slovenia.
As a translator, she translated films from English, French, Spanish and Italian for TV Slovenia, as well as radio and theater plays. The most comprehensive among her literary translations was Psychomagic by Alejandro Jodorowsky.
In recent years she's been exploring consciousness through raw, vegan and gluten-free diet and has started writing a blog in a unique style, called Matimatimati (Mothermothermother) http://matizivilepoto.wordpress.com.
She is mother of three wonderful children Paloma, Jon and Natan, fruit of the relationship with her ex husband and sincere friend Raj Per Tot.
