Journey is not a festival. It is traveling and discovering your inner self, relationships with people, nature, culture and society. It is not a place of expectations. It is a place of surprise, wondering, gratitude and being totally open for new experiences within a temporary established community. It is about questioning your friendships, identity, spirituality in relation to the improvisation on every day habits. Building up a camp. Helping in the kitchen. Being compassionate in critical situations. Sharing. Accepting the gifts of nature and putting them to your advantage. Opportunity for listening and clarifying. Being fragile and showing that in front of others. Finding out what is sacred to you.

 

Contemporary Dance Network (2011-2013)

was a 3 year project with a strong focus on advocacy  and aim to institutionalize contemporary dance in Slovenia. The first public institution Center of Contemporary Dance Arts (CCDA) was founded, but lived for only few months after the government of prime minister Janez Janša abolished it.

Later on we softened the ambitions within projects proposals and focused mainly on networking, education, counselling and empowering NGO sector in this field.

At the moment we would be grateful to get the volunteers who would be prepared to translate all the documents (including 3 publications)  in english and strongly experienced advocates and campaigning strategists who would be able to push forward our past endeavours and help raise the CCDA from the ashes!

PUBLICATIONS

I collaborated in several teams to issue these wonderful publications. Managing different roles... as assistant, observer, editor...These experiences are important to me and would be grateful to get the opportunity and finances to translate and revive these texts with co-workers to be able to distribute knowledge and insights to broader global community.
